Emerging artist, Aurora Ardent, is a soulful storyteller who draws inspiration for her cathartic music from the heart of her life’s experiences.
Her songs weave a tapestry of relatable stories that take you on an intimate journey. Unapologetically real, she harnesses raw emotion and creates brave, soul baring lyrics, turning her pain into poetic prose. She believes the only way to convey her message of inspiration and healing is through compelling, authentic and emotional storytelling.
Auroras versatile voice is described as a mezzo soprano; with a rich and warm tone she sings her life’s story with such intense emotion and passion that it resonates with a powerful soulfulness.
Auroras love for music began at a very young age of when she would sing “Drift Away” by Dobie Gray into her pretend microphone spoon to her Grandmother Bertha (who was also a singer).
A traumatic event silenced her, but after many years of healing, she has finally found her voice again. She hopes that through sharing her most vulnerable moments, that others may also find strength and healing from her words and voice. “Like a caterpillar who turns into a butterfly after a long period of cocooning, there is no greater reward than to overcome an adversity and grow from it.” - Aurora Ardent.
